Patty Jenkins Inspiration Make Wonder Woman

Many directors use other films as their inspiration, however, what about Wonder Woman? Is there a movie that inspired it?

The first World War Setting used by Wonder Woman has indeed raised doubts for many people, especially if we know that Diana is not a cold-blooded killer. However, thanks to the help of other directors, Patty Jenkins was inspired by how to tell history without making the Princess look like a murderer!

From the beginning Patty Jenkins did not want her film to get an R rating, but, unfortunately it could not be avoided. Everyone knows that the First World War was the most brutal war in history - and ignoring the fact is tantamount to changing history. Fortunately, Jenkins managed to get the inspiration she needed while watching Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones movie. Like what exactly is the way he does? Here's the director's comment!

Patty Jenkins Inspiration Make Wonder Woman

"I really wanted to show the First World War as a real thing. However, there is no reason to show violence in the war. Fortunately, one of the movies I've seen many times is Indiana Jones. They can show the fight against the Germans perfectly! Despite the firefight, we never saw Indiana Jones as a murderer, he is still an archaeologist we love. They managed to show the battle scene without hurting the image of the main character, and this is what I'm trying to do. "

Like Wonder Woman, Indiana Jones: The Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade used the First World War as its main setting. Although we see Dr. Jones killed the German troops who were blocking his path, we never once considered him a murderer. According to Patty Jenkins at a press conference she did earlier this month in Los Angeles, it was this point of view and thought that was essential for her to apply in the Wonder Woman. When asked about how he used to show the First World War in his film, Jenkins explained that he got inspiration from the legendary franchise made by Steven Spielberg.

From the various reviews and news that began to appear about the film, it seems that Patty Jenkins successfully runs its mission successfully. Although Wonder Woman will still have a very stressful scene, the film never shows Diana as a cold-blooded killer. We can still see the good in her, however, when the situation requires her to be aggressive, she does not hesitate to do so.

We have watched Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot on the big screen, and how successful the film is. Do you think Patty Jenkins has managed to run her mission perfectly? Or is there a scene you think should not have happened?
